Basic surfing experience required — you should feel comfortable paddling out on your own and catching small waves. You don’t need to be advanced, but this retreat is designed to help you move confidently from beginner to intermediate. AKA-we will not be pushing you into waves
General physical fitness — surfing is physically demanding, and you'll get the most out of this experience if you’re able to participate in daily surf sessions and movement classes.
Open-mindedness and a positive attitude — this retreat is about growth, connection, and having fun (including laughing at yourself sometimes!).
Travel insurance — required for all guests. Please make sure your policy covers surfing and adventure activities.
Is This Surf Retreat For Me?
This isn’t just a surf trip, it’s an immersion.
For the ones who can catch waves but want to surf with purpose, to feel stronger, more fluid, and more connected every time they paddle out.
Over 8 days, you’ll train with experienced surf coaches who are committed to helping you progress, through consistent surf sessions, video analysis, and personalized feedback that breaks old habits and builds new confidence.
From fine-tuning your positioning to understanding wave selection and improving your flow, you’ll leave the island knowing you’ve taken real steps forward in your surfing.
But this trip goes deeper than just the waves. It’s also about reconnecting, with yourself, your body, and the world around you. Between surf sessions, you’ll ground through yoga, reflect through guided journaling, and immerse yourself in local culture through community experiences and shared island meals.
This retreat is where surf progression meets inner growth. It’s designed for those who crave more than just another surf trip, those who want to push themselves in the water and come home feeling inspired, grounded, and reconnected to what really matters

Evenings:
Restorative yoga or gentle movement sessions
Themed dinners: boodle fights, beach BBQs, family dinner

(This schedule is just an example and is subject to change based on surf conditions, weather, group energy, and other local factors. We design each day to make the most of the waves and ensure the best possible experience for everyone.)
What about lodging?
Breezy rooms by the sea, built for rest (not Instagram)
This isn’t a resort. it’s real island living. Simple, raw, and beautifully imperfect. You’ll stay in humble fan or AC rooms just steps from the beach, with clean sheets, ocean sounds, and maybe a few geckos as neighbors.
Expect the occasional power flicker or water break. it’s all part of the rhythm here. Bathrooms are Filipino-style (toilet and shower in one), designed for function over aesthetics.
Communal dining spaces, hammocks, and reading nooks surrounded by rice fields make it easy to unwind, connect, and live slow. No luxury frills—just everything you actually need.
Choose from fan or AC rooms (private or shared)
Very basic ensuite bathrooms with running water
Communal dining and lounge areas (especially made for retreat guests)
Hammocks and reading nooks amidst rice fields
Note: “Shared rooms” = ONE double bed.

Head Surf CoachHi! My name is Chloe, and I grew up surfing in Hawaii. I competed for over 10 years, even reaching the national level before I turned 18.
Once I turned 18, I transitioned into giving surf lessons and became one of the only certified female surf judges in the islands at the time.
Surfing has always been my biggest passion, and now I get to share it by helping women like you progress and build confidence in the water.
I can’t wait to help you improve and watch you grow through our camp!

Founder & Surf MentorHey, I’m Salem! A full-time traveler turned surf addict. After years of exploring the world, I fell in love with surfing and started sharing my journey online, showing what it’s really like to learn something new as an adult, the messy, vulnerable, and empowering parts.
My mission is to inspire you to step out of your comfort zone, laugh at yourself along the way, and believe that it’s never too late to start.
Through my content and this retreat, I’m here to support your mindset, encourage you on the tough days, and celebrate every small win in and out of the water.
