Trip Confirmation Disclaimer

At Salem Surf Co, our retreats are intentionally kept small to ensure personalized coaching, meaningful progression, and a strong sense of community. Because of this, all trips are subject to a minimum participant requirement.

Minimum Participation Requirement

Each Salem Surf Co retreat requires a minimum number of confirmed participants in order to operate. If the minimum is not met, Salem Surf Co reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the trip.

Trip Confirmation Timeline

Participants will be notified via email no later than three (3) months prior to the trip start date whether their retreat has been officially confirmed or canceled.

If a trip is canceled due to not meeting the minimum participation requirement, participants will be notified promptly and provided with next steps.

Airfare & Travel Arrangements

We strongly recommend that participants do not book airline tickets or make non-refundable travel arrangements until written confirmation of the trip has been received from Salem Surf Co.

Salem Surf Co is not responsible for airfare, accommodations, or other travel expenses purchased prior to trip confirmation.

Trip Changes & Unforeseen Circumstances

While rare, trips may also be affected by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Natural disasters

  • Political instability

  • Local regulations or safety concerns

  • Partner or accommodation availability

In such cases, Salem Surf Co reserves the right to modify itineraries, reschedule, or cancel trips in the interest of participant safety and experience.

Refunds & Alternatives

In the event a trip is canceled by Salem Surf Co prior to confirmation, participants will be offered one of the following:

  • A full refund of payments made, or

  • The option to transfer payments to a future Salem Surf Co retreat (subject to availability)

Specific refund timelines and options will be communicated directly via email.

Your Acknowledgment

By booking a Salem Surf Co retreat, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Trip Confirmation Disclaimer and understand that trip operation is contingent upon meeting minimum participation requirements.
